World IPv6 day: what is it all about

its world IPv6 day. have you ever thought about IPv4 coming to an end and when that happens, what next.well, i guess so many of us have been hearing about world IPV6 launch on June  6, 2012 which will serve as the new internet protocol that will service internet and other devices.IPv4 is the current version of the Internet Protocol, the identification system the Internet uses to send information between devices which is about to reduce. This system assigns a series of four numbers (each ranging from 0 to 255) to each device. IPv4 only allows for about 4 billion addresses and the Internet needs more room than that. IPv6 is the new version of the Internet Protocol and expands the number of available addresses to a virtually limitless amount–340 trillion trillion trillion addresses, cool hun.i believe with this latest introduction of this ip, the internet protocol will serve room for every devices to communicate with each other.so today i am going to share with you on what the world IPV6 launch 6 2012 is all about

Just like a phone number helps you communicate with another phone, an IP address is a short word  for (Internet Protocol address). it  is provided to your computer so it can communicate with websites, Internet services, and other devices.i guess we all have our various mobile phone operator serving us with different phone numbers ranging from 080, 070, 081, etc.IP addresses are numbers that are displayed as strings of letters or numbers, such as 192.0.2.1 (for IPv4) and 2001:db8::1234:ace:6006:1e (for IPv6) which definitely would create more rooms for more IP address.

what is World IPv6 Launch on June 6, 2012

it is organized by the Internet Society, is the day participating major websites and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) permanently enable IPv6 and begin the transition from IPv4.so celebrate cause its world IPv6 day.
