delta state bursary has been has been one of the way through which delta state is making payment to student in tertiary institution.so if you are a delta state student schooling in any tertiary institution in Nigeria,then the delta state scholarship bursary payment is for you and you will have to apply for the 2011/2012 delta state bursary payment scheme.delta state bursary payment scheme application is made online and it has already commenced."It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Delta State Students who are studying in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria that the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Asaba has commenced registration for the year 2011/ 2012 Students Special Assistance Scheme.

a. Applicants must be of Delta State Origin;
b. All Applicants must be in 200 Level and above for Universities and Colleges of Education Students, while Polytechnics/Montechnics Students must be in HND 1 or HND 11. (100 level and Diploma Students in the Universities and OND Students in the Polytechnics/Monotechnics Students should not register for the exercise)
c. Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 2.20 in the previous academic session
d. Applicant must be a regular Student and not part time, regular part time or Continuous Education Programme Student
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applicants are expected to purchase a scratch card of N300.00 (three hundred naira) from the following designated banks and register online at www.dtsgscholarship.org
i. EcoBank
ii. Zenith Bank
iii. Mainstreet Bank
iv. Keystone Bank
v. The Delta State Bursary Scholarship Board, Asaba.
Please note that no Applicant is allowed to purchase more than one scratch card for the registration exercise.
a) Applicants must prove their local Government Area of Origin, by getting the Local Government Chairman, or Secretary or Head of Personnel Management (HPM) to endorse their duly completed Application form.
b) Returning Applicants (i.e. Applicants who are still in School and benefitted from the 2010/2011 SSAS payment need not go to their Local Government Area to revalidate but should enter the application form number from the last exercise and update their C.G.P.A.
c) The Dean of Students Affairs of the Applicant’s Institution is required to sign the space provided to confirm that the Applicant is a bona-fide Student of the Institution and that the CGPA claimed is correct.
d) Passport photograph of the Applicant coloured with a contrasting background must be scanned into a JPG format. The size of the scanned image must not exceed 15kb.
e) All Applicants must insert their JAMB Admission number in the space provided, while the JAMB Admission letter should be uploaded by clicking on the appropriate upload button.
f) No application form should be rubber stamped.
g) Biometric data capture and upload will also be required, the procedure will be printed on the online application form.
